International Centre for Dance Excellence
A Landmark Dance Centre to Inspire and Empower Generations
Our vision is to create a state of the art dance and leisure facility that will be transformational, breathing life and energy into local communities and placing the UK Dance Sector in the centre of the world stage.
Net zero and climate resilient, the ICDE will provide a distinctive local identity for the community, attract investment into the local economy and give a home to GP and associated services, all the while improving health, wellbeing, and strengthening social integration.
We invite you to join us in our mission to create a landmark space where movement, wellbeing, and sustainability converge - to shape the future not only of British Dance but build a performance and training centre that will lead the way in its use of innovative materials, technology, and forward-thinking design.
The Centre will support a broad range of dance styles, from Ballroom and Latin to Contemporary, Jazz, Argentine, Salsa and Ballet, with each studio crafted to meet the highest professional standards. Specialised flooring, immersive sound, and professional lighting will create an environment where dancers can train, perform, and evolve. Beyond the studios, welcoming communal spaces and essential facilities will foster connection, creativity, and recovery while on site accommodation will enable professionals visit visiting and competing from abroad to stay and train with British world Dance champions.
This is a place designed not only for excellence, but for inspiration — a centre where architecture, art, and human movement come together to shape the future of dance.
InMotion Education
KS1-KS2 Pilot programme
When children move, participate and connect, learning becomes more than information—it becomes transformation.
We envision a future in which every child develops the confidence, emotional resilience and interpersonal skills needed to flourish in school, in relationships and in life.
Our mission is to support schools in nurturing confident, connected and emotionally aware children through meaningful movement-based learning experiences. By combining evidence-informed educational practice with structured movement, reflection and social interaction, we help children actively develop the skills that underpin wellbeing, positive relationships and lifelong success.
We believe that when children are given opportunities to move, connect, communicate and reflect, they are better equipped to understand themselves, relate to others and contribute positively to the world around them.
